BC coilovers and metallic blue rattle can hubcaps FTW!!
Here is a pic of my BC coilovers, (BR type with camber plates) installed. The rears are just about to the max, fronts, well.......... anyways, until i sell my old setup the rattle can hubcaps will have to do!!
My wife says we're the only ones!! She HATES it. I originally wanted metallic green.. I didn't want to look around so blue it is... I found some 16" mesh wheels and someone to paint em metallic green.. SO SOMEONE PLEASE BUY MY SPRINGS AND OLD SETUP!!!!!
I don't have any pics of the setup. I picked it up on a Tuesday night, Wednesday morning went to a tailgate party for the padre game, then installed it on Wednesday night. I was impressed with the setup right off the bat. Everything felt really solid. They're 30 way adjustable, which was the same price as the non adjustable tien basics?? WTH? The ride right now is better after the drop then when i first installed them. I do have them adjusted to the soft side. Figured ride shouldn't suffer since my wheel setup has! I was on the hotchkis springs with stock shocks, and the ride was choppy but barely tolerable. Funny enough my dash creek is 99% gone with the new setup!! I was actually contemplating surrendering my car... not anymore! I waited to make the adjustments for the springs to settle and now, i can say probably the best G I've spent since my wife's engagement ring!!
Good to hear! I was on Hotchkis springs with stock shocks until I pony'd up and got KSports. Ride was, as you mentioned, barely tolerable with the Hotchkis springs. I've installed many DF210's, and I feel they're more comfortable than the Hotchkis'.
Tein's are always going to be expensive. They're decent for what they are, but I feel you pay quite a bit just for the name. A good friend has been running Monoflex's on his WRX for a year or so. When we decided to roll the fenders, fit his new wheels, and lower the car more, we noticed that some of the finish was coming off.
Decent for what they are, but better can be had for less!!!
Keep us updated with them!
