I hear you on the sku and we have talked about it many a time. Internet retailer or walkin dealers all know that anything we carry can be substituted in a order. If that's what the customer wants, he should question the place he or she is purchasing from. You and I know nothing is as easy as pushing a button.
There are also different management options available. Smaller tanks, different line sizes, pressure switches, and the whole bit. I usually just don't buy something for a couple grand and not get to know the shop or online dealer I am buying from. That's why they have customer service. I wouldn't say I would put it on a manufacturer that they aren't providing the right info. I would probably put it on a dealer that doesn't want to do lots of business. I do tons of dealer trainings and they all know what is possible when ordering these kits.

I hope this doesn't come off as me being a d!ck, but look at it from my point. I have 4 different VW platforms that we sell. They all have 3 different management options, just like the Scion kits have. This is the first time I have really had this come up as a problem. Adding compressor's, swapping tanks, all of it, we will do what ever the customer wants with a kit. Steve from Scion Pro knows to contact me directly with changes in orders, as well as most of my other dealers. I know we all get excited when we are going to make a big purchase, so make sure you are getting what you want in the first place. You can see all the stuff on our website.

You're not saying anything that could be taken the wrong way, those are just my thoughts on the Scion Sku. I know the MKV sku is a different animal. Aliso Viejo, eh? My best friend lives in your neck of the woods. Nice area. I'll have to look you up when I get back out there to see him. I was just there the weekend before last making the yuppies double take and gawk at the car from outerspace. You'd think they had never observed a car with ride height adjustment before???

Sweet I was hoping I wasn't coming off as rude. Yep, Aliso Viejo is where I'm at. Def be sweet to meet up sometime and yes it is very funny to me to see all these guys faces when I am at the light all laid out and lift the box to cruise. This is Cali. and what I thought was the auto capitol. Always fun to teach new ways though.

Finally a video of all the results of my emails to the person before Jesse...... The gen 1 xB redesign now aka "rubber compound" resulted in the bench testing and pressure testing along with them being made here in Michigan rather than China.

Jesse I would love to hear more about those front struts you are running, you have my email.

Thanks,
Charlie

How do these kits hold up over time? I live in New England and the winters here are not car friendly.

These kits are tested to 1 million cycles on the rig with 100psi in the bag. That is equal to 100,000 miles and a insanely rough ride at that pressure. We test that high to check for failures in the strut seals and the bags.

Here is a gen2 I just did on 20's, sittin on the tires. My little guy is in the background and there is 3 tC's sitting around waiting on bags and other goodies.
