And it's doubtful that they have anything stiffer for the rear, right? KSport told me what I have is the only rear spring that they offer.

Same with D2. Swift Springs is my next option.

That's exactly what I was thinking. I looked at what they offer via their online guides, but I didn't see anything that would be suitable.

Keep me posted.

They never felt bouncy, the dampeners smooth out the ride well. If you turn them to the firm setting, its almost like setting the spring rate higher too. Its a stiff ride, but comfortable on the soft setting, but on firm, it keeps me from rubbing.
Overall 9/10 rating.

I'm on KSports. Aesthetically they appear very similar.

the rear shock, can i use that to hold the suspension down, instead of there equation of allowing 1/3 of the shaft length in the body? it seems like it would be the same as the struts, ya? or no?

So what you're saying is: can you adjust the shock all the way down into the body, to compress the springs?

I wouldn't recommend it. What are you trying to do? Make the rear stiffer?

the shock would be at max extension at ride height.

im trying to add preload to the rear spring since i cant find any stiffer ones. D2 wont even offer anything.

You could do that, but I doubt the shock insert would last that long. Shocks will wear out prematurely if they're constantly at full droop or fully compressed.
What I would do is add bumpstops to the shock. There's polyurethane ones readily available. They come in hard and soft durometers. Can find them at an offroad shop or online.
I'm actually planning on doing this.

I might as well just have custom springs made to the rate i want at that point. then i can use the shocks at the correct length

This is true. I haven't looked into getting springs made, but there are options. You could use rear springs from a G35. They may not be the correct length, though. They are about 6k from what I read. Could even use Swift coilover springs. Just have to measure the spring and perches. I was talking to Injected Performance, a vendor for BC Racing coilovers on the forum, about Swift springs. May see if they offer a higher spring rate for the BC coils.
