I was just wondering, from the lowest point of ur car to the ground, how much room is there... I live on a military base and we have those spikes at the gates, and in my 350Z that i traded in, the spikes would always hit the bottom of my car, just wondering if anyone can tell me if there is still a good amount of room, cause I want to go low, I was thinking about the nf's but I think i want the df's and also do you feel there is enough room for a lip kit too... Thank you

You should be fine... I have gone over many bumps and dips and dont scrap. I am not sure about the lip kit. Might be too close for comfort.

How tall are the spikes? Let's start there.

Well the spikes are I would say 4 to 6 inches high somewhere in that range, I am prob gona put the 5axis kit on but dont want to mess that up you know, but I heard its not that bad of a kit, doesnt add that much to the body, but i want the df's cause i seen some pics and looks real clean, I will have 18x7.5 +45 on my car, thats the only size in the rims i want, with 225/40 tires, so yall think I should clear if i just watch my driving and angles I take, but the spikes all I can do is go straight over those.. So with the springs is it sitting that low to the ground? Thanks in advance

If the spikes are that tall on DF's I think you'll be ok. Pretty sure there's still more room than a stock 350Z.

BUT DF's and the 5 Axis kit I don't think you'll make it. I've seen the kit on a xB with TRD springs and it was pretty damn low. Low enough that as much as I wanted it, I've decided not to get. On some of the steep hills I deal with my front alread scrapes some times on DF's. No way I could get by with the lip kit also.

Here's a thread with a few pics of the DF's + 5Axis kit. Maybe it will help.
