Default Disk Caliper Covers - xB2

Does anyone know if the 2013 xB2 uses the same disc calipers as a 2012? I want disc caliper covers for my 2013, but shop catalogs only go up to 2012.

Possibilites so far:
-Remove and paint/powder coat the originals - I'm a DD
-Brembo plastic covers (glues on with silcone) - not my style.
-MGP caliper covers (aluminium CNC machined) ~$200/set; also avail. at CarID - look nice

Why don't you put that money towards the TRD big brake kit or something? Those look pretty cheesy.

The TRD big brake kit is almost 10% the price of the vehicle... installed is $1900 and min. 18" rims. My 17" rims would be too small, so new rims and new tires... a bit much for me.
I'm looking for dress up, and some cheese is fine. Not plastic covers cheese tho.

If I could find an on-line xB parts catalog, I could compare 2012 vs. 2013 caliper p/n's

I'm pretty sure they're the same thing. Not a whole lot, if anything, changed mechanically from 2008 to present.

I vote for painted/powder coated stocks. I've seen the MGP covers up close and don't really like the look, they are still obviously fake when looked at.

In an afternoon, you can take the wheels off, unbolt the calipers, paint/dye them and reinstall. It would take maybe 3-4 hours max jack up to jack down. I would personally let them sit for the rest of the night to fully cure before driving but you don't have too.

Powdercoating would obviously take more time. You could buy calipers from a wrecked xB and get those coated and then just install.

i didn't unbolt mine. put a coat of wax on the car pulled the wheels off covered the brake discs with plastic grocery bags. slid the bags up under the brake pad to cover the disk. rattle canned them with caliper paint from the parts store.

A follow up from my Toyota partsman;
Front calipers were the same (p/n) on xB from 2007.03-2010.03;
Different p/n from 2010.03-2013 (present).

So brake calipers appear unchanged from 2012 to 2013 model xB.
