The answer is no..

I just got a TC strut to see it it was the same.. it looks the same in all ways but one thing made it not fit. the hole for the mounting point for the spindle is wider spread on the 08 XB.. all teh mounting for the brake hoses are the same..

The resaon for me trying to see it this would work was that Air Runner has the Kit for the TC made.. If it had fit i could get an air runner kit for my car by mixing and matching the TC and XB kit..

 

so technically.... The mount can be removed and a new mount welded to the tC strut......

Actually, you may not want to do that with a gas charged strut....

 

How much fatter is the knuckle? Can the knuckle be shaved down to go into the strut?

 

not the kuncle.. the hole on the struts that bolt it to the knuckle isnt the same distance apart

 

So you are saying that the bracket with the with the two bolts in it that bolt to the knuckle are too close together on the tC strut to slide over the xb knuckle?

 

the sway bar mount is in a different location.
