Default just finished installing my Forjworks air ride

after many hours in my garage I have finally finished bagging my Xb. Here are a few pics of the install.

Let me know what you guys think. I plan on getting some lower profile tires.. maybe a little stretch so I can drop my front a little lower . Any recommendations on tire sizes for an 18x8 +40 rim would be appreciated.

What size tires are you running right now? I would think 215/40 or 205/45 would get you where you want to be.

im running a 225/45/18 at the moment. They were the only tires offered on a wheel and tire package that was too good of a price to pass up. Right now my fenderwells are sitting on my tires and I still have more room to drop in the front. I want something that will allow me to drive at a low ride height and that will allow me to drop my front more.

If your running 18x8, I would suggest running a 215/40/18 for a little stretch or 205/40/18 for a little more stretch...

As you already know, 225/45-18 is way too big for your air ride drop. Those tires have a 26" outside diameter, which is over 1" larger than OEM. 215/40 are about 24-3/4" which will allow for 5/8" more drop than your current tires, and the 215 width will give almost 1/4" more clearance from the inside edge of the fenders. If you don't think that's enough clearance for the stance you're trying to accomplish, then 205/40 is the smallest tire solution I would consider. You could always drive with a tad more air on the 215/40's if you need to, then air it out when you park to show it off.

Took me a three day weekend to get it up and running.... and I ended up stripping one of my sway bar link allen bolts... So I installed a new one the following weekend along with tucking wires and checking connections.. The overall install went pretty smooth tho

I run a 225 width on 20" wheel and I can lay it out as far as it will go. I had to use as much neg camber available but it tucks!

How did you go about adjusting the camber?

The top bolt on the lower bracket of the strut is slotted to allow for some camber adjustment...its hard for me to tell in the pics if Marshall's struts are slotted or not. Might need some upper pillow mounts if you need tons of camber. A die grinder will help open the slot if you need a lil more down low.
