Ksport vs Hotchkis springs, ride quality?
I'm just curious, for those of you who have made the switch from hotchkis springs to Ksports, is it much worse?
I know that coilovers will he harsher than springs, but I'm curious if I will be breaking my back daily driving in the city/highway.
Thanks guys, I'm on the fence...but ITCHING to get a set of Ksports!

How does it handle Bumps/daily driving?
My single gripe I have is that the damping adjusters don't actually "click", which could make for an interesting time when I'm trying to tweak it.
EDIT: they do click, I guess it was for a specific vehicle application that they didn't "click" when adjusting the damping.

After seeing the sale that bean_garage had on ksports, I literally couldn't pass it up! They are now sitting on my floor....as I debate putting them on RIGHT before crappy weather, or waiting for spring.
Waiting until spring to put them on...sorry to have kept you guys in suspense!
I will be doing a review once they are on, but with finals and being an art major, I have been pulling 10-13 hour days working on projects for the last 2 weeks.
Next on the list (over xmas break) is the lsd install into the camry trans and auto-manual swap.

I just put my K-Sports on last night. I haven't even done and alignment yet so I only drove the 3-4 miles home. My first impression is they are a little bouncy. However, I still need to do some adjustments, I just didn't have time. Also, I'm pretty low so i expected it to be a little bouncy. Here is a pic.
Sooo, my mechanic who is helping me with my 5 speed swap decided HE couldn't wait anymore to put my ksports on! They are currently on the car, but I won't be anywhere near it for at least 4-5 days (18 hours this semester + no car = hard to get to a shop 20 miles away).
Hope to post up pictures and a review soon. He informed me that (In his professional opinion) a 1 finger gap all around was acceptable, and that was as high as it was going.
My tires (tirerack is having an awesome sale on the new kumho exsta 4x's, plus a $50 gift card), will be here tommorow, and mounted to my new (to me) wheels soon also!

Oyevay.
Its a no-go until at least spring break.
I made sure everyone involved understood that I was SUPER limited on time, and that everything would need to be done quickly. Everyone seemed to understand...but I suppose they just didn't really care. (don't get me wrong, I used to be a mechanic myself, and understand setbacks).
The lsd isn't even in the trans yet, even though it was dropped off over a week ago, and I was told it would take 1 solid day of work to get it done.
Unfortunately, that didn't happen, and everyone thought I was joking about having a tight schedule....
Oh well, I'll just keep looking forward to it over spring break :D
