Lowered on Gen 1 springs *pics posted*
well first i lowered it on gen 1 factory springs. it only dropped about .5 inches, then i bought some k-sport springs for a gen1 xb. we put them on and it dropped 2 inches in the front and 3 inches in the rear.

The fully loaded xB1 GVWR is in the 3000lbs. range, so as long as there are no passengers or cargo I would think the xB1 springs might be marginally OK, I just wouldn't want them on there if I were driving around with the responsibility of 3-4 more lives in my car, or if my daily routine included carrying much cargo weight.
BTW, are you still on the stock shocks & struts? They certainly weren't designed to be compressed 2-3 inches before any suspension travel begins. I imagine they will need to be replaced very soon, if you haven't already.
Just curious... why not purchase springs or coilovers that were designed for the xB2 to begin with?

as far as everyone else's worries i am the only one in my car like 98% of the time and i dont carry anything in the car. i can see the concerns but it almost sounds like you guys drank a lot of haterade before you got on here? but that might just be me?
i am on stock shocks and struts. the fronts are good but i am looking for shorter rear shocks for the rear.

And to the OP, if you go to his thread, people did say stuff about using 1st gen springs on the 2nd gen xB. I'm sure it's all fine and dandy! I know people with xB TRD springs on their xA. Their car has yet to blow up and emplode the earth.

No hating allowed, with Scion it's all one love!
You posted something that as fellow xB owners and modders we worried about for you, and expressed our concern. Your drop looks great, and since you usually drive solo I'm sure it's not that big of a deal. I wouldn't worry about it unless it feels unstable or wallows around on uneven pavement or bumps.
I am not hating just didnt know how much the lowering stuff for a 2ND GEN cost because i have a first gen and i dont really care what you used just wondering how the ride and other stuff was since you use 1ST GEN parts LOL!!!! NO HATEADE HERE LOL!!!! I thought it looked nice LOL!!!!
