Default Lowering with Df210's

I am new and here are a few questions. I have 18X8 with 42MM offset. Tires are 225 40’s 18. I want to run DF210’s. Is anyone running this set up and are they experiencing any rubbing? Also I know you have to cut the front bump stop, do you have to cut the rear and if so how do you get it out? Thanks

Your tire & wheel set-up will work fine with DF springs, no rubbing at all.

There are no bump stops for the rear springs. If you check out the TRD spring installation instructions, you will get a better idea of how it all looks:

Make sure you pick up 2 new shock absorber nuts at the dealership, for the top of the front struts, before your install.

OK I have the new springs installed. I am getting a little rubbing what appears to sound like the left side. I am taking the car to get realigned tomorrow; I am hoping that fixes the problem.

The TRD wheels are +48 offset, which puts them about 1/4" in from the fenders compared to the OP's +42 offset, but the OP's 225 tires are almost 1/2" narrower than your 235's which should compensate for that difference. The only explanation has to do with how the tires/tread are molded. Regardless of the designated tire size, some brands have larger/smaller diameters and widths than the calculated numbers for their designated tire sizes. A different 225/40-18 tire would probably not rub at all.

The rub I heard was a plastic push plug in the fender lining. The tire pretty much wore it off other than that its all good. Thanks for the help
