my god do not take it to the dealer. when i had suspension work estimated at the dealer, they literally wanted 5x what another shop wanted.

1600 is highway robbery.

If everything's needed, then by all means do it. If it's not broke, don't fix it.

So I'm curious as to why virtually your entire suspension failed at only 116k miles.

Me too! I have a 93 Subaru Legacy with 174K miles and all I've had to replace so far were the struts and top hats. The ball joints will be replaced soon but the LCAs and sway bar links are still useable, if not perfect.

Me too as well

This car has been a never ending repair project

1. Bad syncros in trans
2. @ 4K first cracked windshield (this has been replaced 4 times now)
3. @ 80K involved in accident 7K worth of damage
4. @ 80K New clutch flywheel and full tuneup
5. @ 95K banging is back again
6. @ 100K Rear speed sensor failed cleaned repacked with grease
7. @ 114K rear speed sensor failed again
6. @ 116K Looking for full suspention rebuild to address noise issues once and for all

At this point I am looking in to trading the car on a Mini or getting the problem fixed for good

Was the accident at 80k a front end accident? If it was, its possible the front suspension could have been weakened but not caught in the repair.
