rear hub replacement
I know, FNG and his first post is about the rear hubs
I had the passenger side changed about a month ago, thought that the price of the hubs was bad enough not to mention the 150 they wanted for labor so i changed the drivers side with the help of my Father in law.
everything was going well till I pulled the last bolt from the hub only to find that bolt was cross threaded. found a 12x1.25 thread chaser and a new bolt and finished the job in what would have been about 2 hr.
Heres my questions, the FIL was adamant about not using the impact to snug the three 14 and the new 19 bolts on the hub assembly, I got them as tight as i could with a 14 inch 1/2 ratchet but am a little worried about them working loose.
Next question is the stupid VSC light is still flashing, is there a reset or do i need to go around and check the connections? I know the one we did tonight was good but not sure about the other three.
Thanks for any help guys!

The only problem I'm aware of relative to the rear hubs is associated with winter snow and salt causing misbehavior of the ABS speed sensor connectors. The solution for that appears to be to clean the connectors and protect them from corrosion.
Is your problem something different?
