New to xB ownership, when I accelerate or brake I can hear my front suspension creak a bit (stock suspension). From reading it sounds like sway bar bushings are a typical wear item. How hard are they to replace? Do I just disconnect the links and then undo the crossmember plate on each side or is it much more involved than that.

If that doesnt work, any other items to look at that would cause a creak when acellerating or decellerating (or a bump)?

 

Just replacing the bushing isn't too bad. Pretty much do what you described. Taking it out is a royal PITA sa you have to almost drop the sub frame to get it out.
