Default Tanabe strut tower bar

I have had this for around 4 months and never adjusted it. It was just put on. Well I pulled it off to paint it and I jacked the car up and adjusted it and man what a difference! Feels much tighter. Btw I painted it red like the TRD bar.

Yeah, I've read before that if you set it up correctly, it makes a real difference. I've also read that if they're simply bolted on wihout correct setup (which seems typical), the owners tend to say there's little to no benefit -- as in, don't bother with a strut tower brace.

I setup mine correctly and although I consider the improvement over stock modest, it's there. The steering is more stable with straight roads, as well as with curves and manouvering. Nothing breathtaking, but a welcome upgrade IMO.

I would like to know this as well. The only thing I can think of is lifting the front end off the ground while you install it.

Y8RS was told this by Tanabe:

Thanks for the number to Tanabe and keep up your excellent tech info on scionlife have a great evening!! Y8RS
