I had Goldline 2" drop srings and really liked them. They are avail for around $180ish a set. Kinda all depends on how low you wanna go and what ride you want or will accept, as to which brand to choose.

When you're looking for an aggressive look and ride quality, the wheels you choose, as well as their size, and the tires you choose will all play a factor.

The right wheel design can contribute to an aggressive look, but if you go too big (diameter), then you will have so little sidewall that ride quality can suffer.

It's all a balancing act, and beauty is in the eye (and the butt) of the beholder. Look at the various threads with xB's in your color to get ideas.

well you can use the springs off of the xb1 they fit but it will be a little more bouncey and it it is a nice amount over what it says. like stock spings from an 05 is = to 1.5" on the 08 model

Hotchkis suspension parts have been around for a very long time. I have used parts from them since....hmmmmm...I wanna say the late 70's. I have used these parts on my own cars and the cars of others. I have always found their parts to perform as or better than expected. I was particularly impressed with the steering response changes to my 06 xB after installing one of their sway bars sets.

Use a spring that is designed for the car (2008 xB) unless you know what you are doing suspension wise and feel adventurous.
