Default TRD Rear Sway Bar

Does anyone have a TRD rear sway bar installed on there 08 xb? Is it worth it? Is there a big difference in handling? Is there other sway bar that performs better? I am planning on getting a TRD rear sway bar. Thanks

There's a few people that have installed this on their xB2. From what I've read it's made quite a bit of difference. I'm waiting until there's other stuff out.

Just me, though.

Can someone shed some light on the trd sway bar. Will it greatly reduce the body roll in the xb2? I wish I could push mine further but at the moment (stock) it just feels like the car wants to roll over if I go in the turn to hard/fast.

I've been in other cars and they stick like glue so I'm not sure if a sway bar is what I need or quite possibly even upgrading the tires?

the sway bar with all stock isnt going to show a huge improvment..... what youll need to be able to "push" it more and haveless body roll is to get a drop, some new rims and tires... THEN when you ad the sway bar it will be very nice. youll knotice a difference then... Just the drop on mine helped some. Im going to get the rear sway eventually after i see some options on manufactueres. still looking around at wheels and tires also...

Tanabe for sure!!! I'm waiting for the Hotchkis stuff. Otherwise I'd scoop up the Tanabe's in an instant.

midgethearsexb and I installed the DF210's on his xB2. Looks really good. Driving down the interstate at night, watching him, I was jealous.

I work in Dallas and live just north in Frisco, glad to give you a whirl with the TRD set-up, handling is 100% make that 200% better with the addition of lower springs, TRD strut and sway bar.

I was reading this and I just bought mine tonight, get it next week. So I'm am going to have no comparison between stock and the trd sway, strut bar and lowering springs. But if its 200% better then holy cow I am going to be very pleased.

I'll be installing the rear sway bar and the front strut tower brace tomorrow....I'll probably post a how to even though its really easy, but I'll include my review as well.

So you all know, I'm 100% stock otherwise. I'll probably be lowering with TRD springs, but may wait until spring or even see what options pop up.

It does make a difference. We are running TRD springs, and TRD Sway bar noticeable difference. 235/35/19 Tires. Will add the strut bar soon.
