Trevor, I respect your input about dealer pricing, but $325 for a spring install is BS at any dealership. I would say blow off this dealership, and go somewhere that is reasonable. This ISN'T (yell!, yell!, yell!)

That's all very well, but how the SCION dealer "divides" the accessory/install cost between the part and installation can be very flexible. And the typical posted total price appears to be in the neighborhood of $550. So if a split out labor was $200, one could then complain about the cost of the part at $375, or in this split, one can complain about the labor at $325. It would be simpler to just complain about the typical accessory/install cost charged by any SCION dealer, but then you're basically running into "pure pricing" (how much were you able to shave off the purchase price of your Scion?)

The solution is obvious -- don't have the dealer do the install! However, dealer installation is the specifc goal in this case! No problem, he can try ten different SCION dealers, but I doubt the total accessory/install cost will vary much.

No offense, but I'm noticing you keep coming back to this "yell" thing. I trust you appreciate there is a difference between keyboard yellng such as "I DID NOT!" and the normal use of caps simply to provide an emphasis. Highlighting a word CAN be helpful in getting a message understood -- but that doesn't make it "yelling". Capitalized, bold or italic letters can all be used for highlighting/emphasizing.
