To give my 09 x b a better ride--stable. How about strut tower brace?

If you want a mild drop with the best ride, then it's Tanabe NF210 for the win!

Strutt tower bar was my favorite suspension mod.

I don't know why you edited your question... you were right the first time; springs will make the most beneficial change when it comes to ride quality and stability. Next would be a rear sway bar, or sway bar set. The strut tower brace looks nice, but does nothing for ride quality, and very little for handling (especially if you're on the stock springs).

I still don't have a strut tower brace. I'm waiting for more companies to produce more aesthetically pleasing pieces. The TRD one is okaaaay as well as the Tanabe piece. Meh. I like how the Weapon-Argh looks, but they don't have one for the xB2's yet.

But as CIONIDE has already stated, the NF210's are great springs and don't have such a substantial drop. They'll close up the fender gap a bit, but you won't have to make the big swerves for speed bumps and worry about scraping up the under carriage.

Strut towers generally are a waste of money and mostly serve as eye candy. You're best bet is to get some Cusco coilovers but if you are on a budget then I would recommend going with a very minor drop and getting some sway bars to complement the lowered ride height.

Eventually you'll want to upgrade the shocks as well if you didn't when you changed your springs. The lowered springs will put more stress on the stock shocks causing them to blow prematurely. Do it right the first time....

Coilovers #1

Springs + sway bars #2!!!!
