Default 18" Staggerred Wheel Set

Hello.

OK. I've been searching around this forum for a few weeks now trying to get a better understanding about fitting a set of staggered wheels on the xB2. I'll be putting on a mild drop spring set Tanabe NF210 (1.0"F/1.7"R) and going with a staggered wheel set from TSW .

From what I'v been gathering, running a setup like the following should not be problem:

Wheel
Front: 18x8 ET40
Rear: 18x9.5 ET40

Tire
Font: 235/40ZR18
Rear: 265/35ZR18

Can anybody please confirm this??

I do not want to roll the fenders and definatley do not want any rubbing issues of any kind.

Thank you for your help.

Shouldn't be a problem at all, unless you pack it with 4 huge adults or hit some vicious bumps.

Do it, and then post pictures on the Official Tanabe NF210 thread.

Thanks guys.

I found the diameter sizes kind of interesting....

205/55/16 = 24.9" dia. (Stock tire)

Front: 235/40/18 = 25.4" dia. (2.1% diff from stock)
Front: 225/40/18 = 25.1" dia. (0.8% diff from stock)

Rear: 265/35/18 = 25.3" dia.
Rear: 255/35/18 = 25.0" dia.

Also the 2.1% difference in the front would equal the following on the speedometer: 60mph = 61.3mph (actual)

Just sharing some info...

Let me know if anyon else has more info about this 18" stagger fitment. Thanks

I would run 225/40 rear and 215/40 front personally, and run 30-35 offset wheels if possible. Less tire + more poke = hotness.
