1fastscion is on Hotchkis springs and 18x8 +35 wheels, with 225/40-18 tires, and barely rubs when attacking hard turns:

willow is on DF springs and 17x9 +35 wheels, with 225/45-17 tires, and reports "no rubs whatsoever":

Those reports would suggest that you'll be fine with 225/40-18 tires, unless you drive it like you stole it.

is your friend.

will there be any rubbing issues with that rear set up. I also thought about adding wheel spacers in rear. Any thoughts?
