Default Bronze 16's...

I really like these rims... Do you think they would work? (both fit and color)
I have a BSP by the way...

16X7 +48 will work fine, and the bronze will look good on BSP.

Why not jump up to 17x7 +43 or 17x8 +46?

Why spend $500+ on wheels to keep the same small 16" diameter. I'd wait until the stock tires wear out, then upgrade to the 17's if this is the wheel you want.

I dont see much sense in going only one size up... I like the look of the 16 with some good rubber too... If any thing i would go with a 18", but i dont really want to spend all that moeny now... Maybe some day down the road ill make the jump to big boy wheels...

Understood; and when your tires wear out, the 7" width will allow you to jump up to 225/50-16's for a little more meat b/w you and the road.

They should fit just fine. IIRC the 19x8 TRD wheels are also 48 offset, and they're an inch wider.

Stock is +45

I'm surprised Discount Tire is saying they won't work. They were awsome to deal with when I bought my wheels. I can't imagine +48 will be that much closer to the suspension/brakes.

Somebody was running around the xB2 forum on Lexus IS350 wheels with a +50 offset, and I know those rims are at least 7" wide. Like I said before, you should be fine.

Since you're dropped fairly low with the DF springs, I think the all black look would be nice & aggressive. Can't go wrong either way.

So i contacted Travis from Discount Tire Co and he looked into it... So far he thinks its just an error in their fitting guide and the bronze 48 offset should work.. He is going to give me a defintite answer later and i'll let you all know...

Can't speak of offsets since I don't know much but I like the bronze wheel. I think the black xB2 is the only color (maybe white) that can pull off the bronze wheel but I think it would be something different than the standard black, silver, or chrome. I'm interested in pics if you get them.

Its funny, the Scion dealer tried to tell me that the stock tires would not fit my 16x7 rims they installed this weekend. If Im correct, the Enkeis are 16x7 48 offset too. Needless to say, they fit fine. I think I will go to the next tire size when these goodyears wear out.
