ok guys. so its either 19 or 20's. but which one should i get?
it for my wife xb2 2010. daily driver.

daily driver on 19"s SUCKSSSSS...(personal experience)
i can't imagine 20"being better...
go with 17"s and let her enjoy a comfy ride.

remember 19"s & 20"s tires are pretty penny

with a drop....I'm dropped on hotchkis and I LOVE it.....more comfortable and less bouncy than stock...a nice set of 17"s and she'll be set

 

well im not worried about tire price, i work for a mercedes-benz dealer and my tire soruce gives me a great deal

 

then you should worry about ride comfort.

 

If its between 19s or 20s I would choose 20s....19s have been a pain to get some 19" tires...

 

I would go with 20's, but that's cause I would love the look of it. But since it's a daily driver (like mine) i would go with 18's for the comfy ride and it's still a pretty nice look!

What wheels were you thinking about??

 

18's for comfort but id go with the 20's

 

18x9.5 up front and 18x10.5 in the rear and slam it and stretch the tires ****

I have a feeling about this one. But I'll wait to call it.

 

Rims and suspension go hand in hand. That's why all the guys on air can even make 17s look good on air with the right offset. But on TRDs and 20s, there's no rim or size that's going to make those look good.

At the very minimum, I'd suggest ditching the TRDs and get the NF210s or Tein H Techs for the daily driver and go with 18s. Go with eight08custom's recommended settings and try to shoot for 18x8 et35 and 18x9 et35 for nice flush look.

If you want 19s, then make sure you get stiffer and lower springs like the Tein S Techs.
