It will probably stick out just a tiny bit. I can't tell you if you will have clearance on the inside though..

you should be okay. As a reference point. Alot of guys are doing 18x8's with 40 offsets or 7.5"s with 35 offsets. Those all sit pretty flush with the wheel well. I have 7.5" +38 for example and it's pretty close to flush. Using that above calculator you would be sticking out 1mm less.

So what I get from this is the wider the rim the larger offset is needed to get tire flush to out side of wheel well. With a 225/40/18 tire and stock springs I should not have problems with inside clearance? Or front tire rub on inside of tire well while turning? This is all new to me and I don't want to depend soley on the suplier of my new wheels,

I'm running the same tire size, no rubbing issues. plenty of room in that regard. I'm also lowered with TRD springs. Non-lowered, you'll have more than enough room.

also put trd lowering springs so if your runnin stock suspension your easily fine.... with my trd no rubbin at all i can bottom the suspension out and it wont rub lol..... and you can turn the wheels all the way with out rubbin... man i feel like im the only one with 20s.... lol some man up and do it too..... car still rides great... i got 235 30 tires with a +45 offset dude .......... do it

Found a local shop that will charge $1400 w/goodyear tires which is what made the 18x8.5 my choice. If I could find 20's I like for that price I would.

225/35R20s are the tire size you'll need to fit with no rubbing
