I know a 9.5 will be fine but I want a 10 that's .5 less of inner clearance.

It's actually only 1/4" less inner clearance, as long as the offset is the same for both wheels. The difference in wheel width (in this case 1/2") is split between the inside of the wheel and the outside of the wheel. So the 10" wide wheel will be 1/4" closer to the suspension, but also stick out 1/4" closer/past the fender.

What issues, if any, will I run into going with 18x9 with an offset of 38? I'm only ginving it a 1.5 drop. (06 tC)

Wrong forum... you're asking tC national questions, but in xB2 country.

I was thinking the same thing popa. I need to pull my wheels off and start measuring. Let me know how it goes if you do it man.

I have 19x10 +25 pics from a mockup we did before I ordered a set of 35's for the front. without tires at stock height it clears everything just fine. That is of course with a 225/35/19.

I am about to drop the fitment pics from the BBerry to photobucket - I will try to remember to post a link.

this is 19x10 +25 all around. I later decided +35 for the front would be better as I had room for it.

sorry for the quality - it was a blackberry and yes those are dents. I have a SEVERELY hail damaged XB - it makes it easier to do crazy stuff if the car is paid for and already damaged. LOL

I have not as of yet. I will keep it updated though, as there is plenty of room with a 25 to clear the shock.

The thing im worried about is if you camber the wheel because I wouldnt want that much poke in the front would it still clear with -3. +35 compared to +25 is less then an 1.00" more back spacing. and -3 camber is going to bring that lip a lot closer. Keep us updated!

I will give you a for sure this week. I have 4 +25 and 2 +35's to try out. I am going to see what camber is needed for the look I am going for and will post pics of stock / cambered / insanely cambered to give you and idea of what this will look like. I am thinking the springs I am running will only be on for a short while since I may go air soon after I get this setup right. Or, alternatively I will go racelands when they are available.

so I got my Ksport GT's in tonight and they look legit. I will be putting them on tomorrow and snapping some pics of the setup if we can get the tires mounted. only problem I have right now is we don't have a balancer and need to put 235/35's on a 10 inch wheel. I may have them tomorrow though if I can convince my local guy to mount / balance. I also ordered shims to take it out a bit, not 3* yet - but that is coming.

Yeah the wheels I want don't come in x9 unless I go with a 18/19 set up but I want to run 19s all around, that way I'll have a few mm of height clearance compared to 18"s so I can daily with out a problem on coils.

as for the guy with the x10s all around i would of just ran camber in the front to fit the +25s.

same here if it worked. Papo word of advice tire prices suuuuuuuuck on 19's and without a kit the car looks too tall. If you want something to reference I can send you pics of my car without the kit all the way aired out. I really liked how your car sat with your last set-up.
