Hey folks,

I have a question for you. Can I fit a full size 16 inch tire in the spare tire well? I drive great distances during the week and would like a full size spare instead of the donut.

Will a full size spare tire fit in the 2011 XB? I figure that if it does then I will not be able to use that tray that covers the donut spare but that is ok because I don't use the tray for anything anyway

I found posts for full size spare for the XB1 (first gen XB) but nothing for the 2nd gen XB

Have you tried it? also if you take that foam tray off, the top floor trunk will not be sturdy, it will concave when you put something heavy on top.
