Default help with offsets for 20's

i'm looking for buy some 20's for the xb2, don't wanna do any fender rolling...

what fits?

the wheels i want are in 20x8.5, with +35 +40 +45 offsets. the car might be lowered, if after putting them on it still looks like a 4x4. what are some offsets you guys have used that have worked well?

i think it's safer not to get some rubbing if you're planning to drop it

From the information I have on the 2008 Xb

20x8.5 with a 45 offset will be tight but with the right tire. 235.30.20, you shouldn't rub.

A safer size would be a 20x8 with a 39-54 offset and the same tire or if you want a little more sidewall, you might be able to squeeze a 225.35.20 under there without rubbing.

There's someone on here that put some 20x8.5's on the front with 38mm offset and 20x10's with a 45mm offset on the rear. He said they sit pretty flush.

Rolling the fenders, if need be, yes. I'll just make a fender roller with a jack I'll pick up from pick n pull.
