How can I fix a curb scratch on my 19" TRD wheels?

Default How can I fix a curb scratch on my 19" TRD wheels?

I was in a parking lot and i have been so careful a little too careful when it come to my wheels and curbs. well when i was pulling out of the gas station i hit my back wheel on the curb and it scratched the chrome lip on the wheel.
so if any one could help me out on how to get the scratches out that would be great

you cant use that for the TRD rims though because the lip isnt painted. I've been trying to figure out what to do to mine too but I think i'll just end up cleaning it for now until i paint/powdercoat them later down the line

I don't know of anything...you might try to find an alloy wheel repair company.

I would like to see some pics of your car...do you have any pics you can post...I would like to see what my car would look like the TRD wheels.

Fixing curb damage is relatively easy, but finding a spray can that matches your wheel is the hardest thing. I am still searching for spray can for repaired tC wheel.

so you scraped the chrome/polished lip?

if so, get some fine sand paper and wetsand the rash until it fairly smooth and even with the rest of the lip. then polish the lip with some aluminum polish until it shines.

is the going to make it perfect again? No. But it will help it look 100 times better.

i need to clean my wheels. the curb rash looks really bad due to the dirt
