How do i REPROGRAM my tire sensors?

Default How do i REPROGRAM my tire sensors?

So i got a another 2008 xB and i put the rims from my last one with the sensors on it to my new one. The sensors are now reading an error. Itll blink for 1 min then stay on. Once again these sensors and wheels are from my last xb and now being placed on my new xb. I called the dealers to see what i can do. they said it needs to be reprogramed and itll cost $100. I was wondering if there was a cheaper way to do this

Yeah the only way I've read about is to have the dealer reprogram it with the codes from the sensors in the wheels. Even that may require them taking the tires off to get the code, unless it's documented somewhere. Or you could just have all the wheels and tires broke down and have a shop move the sensors from your stock wheels to the aftermarket wheels.
