After riding on the donut emergency tire (for a few hours) due to a flat emergency while traveling and getting 2 new tires,
yesterday I now have a noise that is variable but can get up to an ear piercing high pitch noise- not a squeal at only 30 mph.

No Engine Light on so thinking it is tire? related. Planning to revisit the tire shop if related.

That isn't good, what is the tire brand??
May need to check to see if anything is rubbing
Also check to see if they put the right size tire on (see sidewalls)

 

Possibly tire, but could also be wheel bearings going out, which sound more likely.

 

Or something simple, like a backing plate hitting the rotor.

Thanks for replies will revisit tire shop and mention the above and if still happening then look into wheel bearings or
somethings else metal rubbing. Just discovered this forum, but have had 2 Scions this one and an 06 now driven by a relative.
