so, i bought the car yesterday, and just ordered some wheels. i went ahead and called sportmax and they told me they would fit flush to the fender and not stick out. since i see guys here running 18x8.5 +35, i think he's right. i know they're old, but i always wanted a set and i think they'll look great on the new car. what do you guys think?

Those should look pretty damn sweet. That link shows 18x8 & the lip size but not the offset...any chance you know the offset?

well, i'm scooping up the tires tomorrow and hopefully i'll have time to slap them on the car. once i do i'll post up pics. i also ordered some tanabe df springs which should be arriving next week.

well, i wasn't able to get the wheels on. seriously. i was given the wrong lugs so i have to wait until monday when the tire shop i got them from opens up. i am friggin' ____ed.

 

Man, I hate set backs like that! Just this week, I've had to postpone my Weapon-R intake install and my spoiler install because of wrong parts. I know how it feels to be so close. Good luck, I still look forward to seeing those pics

they get done tomorrow! finally got all the hardware, and by wednesday afternoon, they should be on the car and ready to roll. i'm seriously excited about this. i have never had such a hard time getting wheels on a car. the springs get here thursday so hopefully i can get those done friday. anyone here done a diy on installing springs? i want to see what i'll be getting myself into.
