Default Look what I stole...(New Pics!)

17" Scion wheels.

Ok...I didn't steal them, but I might as well have. I got them for $82/each. I work in the service department at a Toyota/Scion dealer, and one of the guys found a notice about some parts being clearanced from the warehouse. I couldn't pass up the deal. I ordered my tires today so hopefully I'll have them on the car within a week.

I also got these drilled rotors for the rear for free. I don't know the whole story about them, except that they were taken off an xB. They were brought over to us from the accessory department, and the team leader from the other shift saved them for me. I'm not sure if I'm going to sell them or find some matching front rotors. You can tell they've never been driven on...the braking surface is still cross-hatched.

I installed them yesterday at work, and they look awesome on it. I'm happy with them...especially for the money. I know everyone seems to be infatuated with big lips, but it makes your wheels look smaller than they are. I would take some pics but my car is pretty dirty.

I mounted 225/45ZR17 Hankook Ventus K104s on them and I'm happy with the way they ride. They feel quite a bit better than the factory Goodyears, which vibrated from the beginning. I balanced the GYs a few thousand miles ago, and it didn't make a difference.

Sweet, I got the same rims, except not at that price. Do you know if the 17"s are being discontinued? If so, then I'll have a "Limited Edition" NMB '08, and "Limited Edition" rims! Scion of Hawaii doesn't offer them through the dealership when you buy the car, you have to order them as parts, and I've yet to see another xB rolling on the 17"s.

I mounted some 225/45/17 BFGoodrich g-Force KDW NT rubber on mine, they're riding nice. The noise wasn't as bad as I expected!

I really don't know if they're being discontinued. The bulletin from Toyota had an expiration date
on the clearance pricing...it was like 2/7 - 3/26 or so, but it said "while supplies last"...so it makes
me wonder. I probably should order and extra 1 or 2 wheels just in case. Also on the list were the
17" tC wheels, illuminated sill plates, remote start, and a few other things I can't remember.

Id take those rims for that price. They look nice! They probably could use some spacers for the best look though. They are 17x7 ET45 right?

I just bought some off ebay, not as good as a deal as you got (due to shipping), but still way less than anywhere else. I can't wait to put them on! :D

I finally finished detailing my car tonight. I will try to take some pics tomorrow, but it's supposed to rain.

I really love the way these look...they make my BSP look stealthy. I can't wait to lower it and tint the windows. I think I'm going to tint the tail lights too.

Damn they are going to look great on my nautical blue xb on trd springs. Can't wait to get them. What type and size tires are you running?

All you need now on your ride is a drop, blacked out head lights and a slight tint on the rear tail lights. Stealthy for sure

You won't regret it. I love my Hotchkis TVS.

I just hope I can keep the sways when I lay it out.

I don't see why you wouldn't be able to keep them if you bag it.

I would love to bag mine, and I would be all over it if Slam Specialties made strut bags (assuming my wife wouldn't kill me). I'm just not impressed with any of the kits out there. I'd love to do it right and REALLY lay it out, not lay it on the inner fenders like every other bagged xB2 I've seen that is "laid out."

If you can't keep them, you're welcome to give them to me, I'll even pay the shipping.

I removed the front sway on my fullsize when we stock floored it. Just decided that I didn't need it. UAS product is pretty good. I've bagged a couple vehicles with their products and haven't had a problem at all. I'm planning on using the ES struts, and probably cutting the towers.

Got to get it down so I can get a logo... :D
