shoutout to cionide for the title

I am in the market for some deep lip rims. Right now i have the AXIS widetrack in mind 60mm for the front and 90 mm for the rear. they are pricey, total asking price i found cheapest was like 1450 with tires

I know there are ppl out on this forum that have some nice ___ rims. Please provide me some inspiration by showing me your deep lips!

Pics would be great as well as the website (if you did get them from a website), price would be much appreciated. Cant wait to see your rims!

sorry to tell you this but you're not going to find big/deep lips with knockoff and low quality wheels such as Axis, Rota, Drag, XXR, etc... you'll have to get some high quality Japanese made wheels..

 

ah...well that's ok...I don't have the time and money to do something like that. any other brands? thanks anyways

How much are ppl spending on average for their rims and tires?

i just want to gauge what ppl are paying and whether i am being ripped off or not.

the best price with tires so far i found for the axis wide are 1645

AME Shallens! I don't know where you can get them from but all I know is that they're from japan and its pricey.
I also like Vienna wheels. Particularly the 'Dish II' and 'Zweel' designs. I think you can order them from www.more-japan.com

 

I don't see why you're complaining about 1645 for wheels WITH tires. You're paying for something that helps keep your car planted to the road that has a LOT of time and research put into it to make it as strong/light whatever it is. That's a DANG good price IMHO. If you want nice wheels prepare to pay big bucks for them.

I want the AME's or the or the Auto Couture's soooo bad! They look so good!

BBS' are sick because you can rebuild them yourself. I haven't seen any Work, AME, or any other high end lips and barrels for sale.

These lips can be had for fairly cheap... And are easily found locally. Saves you on shipping, etc.

those Auto Coutures are SICK.. AME's are HOT.. BBS's would be DOPE done right 'n crazy!! but not to sure about low end fat lip wheels. i do however know of a few high end fat lip wheels by Lock Smice.. Admiration.. WORK.. just to name some but be prepared to spend some MAJOR cash on these!!
