Default looking for new wheels

So I'm in the hunt for coilovers, new wheels and tires, I would like to get staggered looks, what offset is recommended?

Don't try to pick out wheels from offset first, it's almost impossible to pick offset and then search for wheels that match it. Find wheels you like first, and then see what widths and offsets are available; I can then let you know how flush they will be. If it doesn't work for the look you want, then you can search for other wheels that might match the fitment and stance you want.

For any given offset, a 1" stagger will keep the outer lips about the same distance from the front & rear fenders. If the offsets are different front & rear, then the stagger would need to be different (than the 1") to keep the same amount of flushness front & rear; that's why I say to find the wheels you like first, and then go from there. The closer to flush you get with the wheels, the more you will need to run stretched tires to keep from rubbing if you crank the coilovers down low.

^^^Truth.

It comes down to too many determining factors. How low you want to be, the stance desired, willingness to roll/pull fenders, etc.

Ok I like the professor MS1 19", the deep lip on the rear looks awesome, Cionide, what's your opinion on these wheels and the recommended size for these wheels?

Killer true 3-piece wheels made by SSR. Anywhere from $720-$940 per wheel in 19x7 up to 19x12.5. Crazy amount of offsets and disks available. You can pretty much get any look and tuck/flush/poke you want.

Maybe 19x8 +37 super low disk up front, and 19x9 +37 normal disk rear.
I'm working more off size & offset here, I'm not really sure how the disks would look.

OK, I am hooking up my 2011 xB and I am planning to replace the steel rims with alloy rims. But, I want to keep the same size 16” because I don’t want to compromise the “ride conform”. So what are the best choices in this matter?
matter?

You'll need fender rolled and pulled and, at the largest, a 235/35R19 tire for the rear. Front will fit with a 225/35R19 tire, without a doubt.

Rear will take work but can definitely be pulled off. My car could fit them.

^^ What he said... vegan's way better at answering aggressive fitment questions.

I had a set of Work Meister S1 in the following size with no rubbing issues. 20x9.5 with a +38 in the rear.

Good luck,

Dan

I don't know about pulling the fenders, would it mess the paint? or would it leave a uneven surface on the fenders?....
I was looking at the XXR 526 18", those have a nice deep lip... ideal sizing for this?

rolling/pulling fenders, if done right, shouldn't mess anything up. rolling them you have to heat up the area first to soften the paint so that it doesn't crack. and with pulling, i would say if you need to get your fenders pulled, have someone with experience do it, see if you can find examples of their previous work to see if you like how they do it.

So, finally after saving some money I bought the SSR MS1 19x8.5 37 offset front and 19x10 37 offset for the rear( it wasn't 24 offset)...... after checking the 19x10 37 ET wheels I'm like, : dammit !!! They look so wide!!. So went to my local tire center the guy said only a 265/30ZR-19XL 93Y proxes would fit that wheel... I need some advice please what should I do?...

I doubt the 265 would fit under that fender depending on how low you decide to go

By the way rear fenders are rolled and sitting on scionpro coilovers as of now...., so 225/35R19 for the front and for the rear 245/30R 19???????

that guy was running 18x10 +25 all around on 225/40 slammed on scionpro coils i think, those specs might help you decide what tires to run. you can also ask xseveredveganx for some help, he know his aggressive fitment.

I'd run a 225/40R19 tire or possibly a 235/35R19 that runs narrow. Nankang, Achilles, and Falkens run narrow. I always recommend Achilles.
If the tire shop won't mount them, tell them you'll go elsewhere that actually wants your business. I've been running 225/35R19 Achilles on my 19x9.5s for over a year with a total of NO problems.
