Default Need some help with wheels....

Well here's my question about some wheels that I want to pick up. Now to be clear, I dont have the xb yet and wont till around January or February. My plans are (so everyone can imagine what I want to do) is to go pretty low on ksport coils. My question here is, is that i want to run a 16 wheel to be able to go lower, but i need help trying to decide width and offset. (im terrible at trying to understand it, ive read countless times and still just dont get it) So any help from anyone that can help me out is much appreciated! I was thinking of running either:
Enkei 92's...gold on polish
XXR's 002...gold on polish
Rota Jmag...all polish or gold and polish

The Xb is going to be BSP so any help would be appreciated thank you!

You can still run 17's or 18's and get really low... If you're going to run 16's, you'll have to go really wide. I've seen guys running DF210's with XXR's in 16x8 +0mm with no problems.
May be difficult finding the 16" Enkei 92's... but not impossible.
You'll need some mega spacers for the Rota Jmags to get flush. They're almost OEM fitment.

The only reason for 16's would be rub issue...I want to keep the wheel wells just because I'm going to school in Corpus Christi so theres a lot of sand and salt and I wnat as much protection as possible. But 17's could work also, but i just dont know what else to look at, (that wont break my wallet) to be able to look good. I want to try and go with a 5 spoke and lip... any suggestions?

if you're getting coilovers it doesn't really matter what size rims you get since you can adjust your ride height. it's just your choice of looks and money. since you want to keep your tires inside the well, you will be able to tuck it if that's how low you want to go. just find the specs for stock rims/tires and compare it to what you want to get. i use http://www.miata.net/garage/tirecalc.html

oh yea 5 spoke and lip. XXR 962. you can't go wrong there. I'm saving for the gold in 17s because 17 is the smallest.
you can google XXR 962 scion at GOOGLE IMAGE. this is one of them.

Rub issue? What rub issue? You can run 19x9.5's +45mm all the way around with absolutely zero problems, even with a 235/35R19 tire on DF210's.

Depending on how aggressive you want to go, you could find a set of Mustang Cobra 17's and run some stretched tires. Just roll the rear fenders and you should be good.
