You'll be poking 3/4" up front, so I wouldn't try anything larger than 215/45-17.

So it means I need spacer in the rear to make it even with the front wheels?

Yes, the rear hubs sit back from the fenders about 1/2" more than the front hubs.

Not much, the diameter is only 1/4" less than the OEM 205/55-16 tires. What will have a bigger affect on acceleration & mileage is if the 17x8 wheels are much heavier than the steelies. You could also try 205/50-17 tires which would be about the same diameter as the stock 16's, and the narrower tire might have better clearance when the suspension compresses since you will have so much poke with those wheels.

Okay okay. So what's spacer size would I need?

The wheels that I am gonna use is a XXR 512. Don't know the weight. What do you think?

And I checked out the Tanabe suspension, probably NF210??

With that much poke I wouldn't go with more than 10mm spacers, although 15mm would match the front better.

I will guarantee rubbing with any spring drop and that much poke. You will still rub even if you roll & pull the fenders.

My personal recommendation would be to find some other wheels with a higher offset.

So 15 or 10?? But you said 15 would match the front..hmm..
Actually its too late, already ordered the rims. So there is no other way even though I wont lower it?

What tires are you suggesting? Tires that are stretched? Or standard as it can be? Really need your opinion... appreciate everything..

You need to run stretched tires no matter what. If you leave it on the stock springs and don't lower it, then run the 15mm rear spacers to match the fronts for poke, and 205/50-17 tires. With this combo you might be able to get away without any fender work.

Another possiblity would be to camber the wheels a lot. You'll wear more on the inside edges but it'll help cut down on the amount of pulling and rolling you're going to need.

But I don't want to spend too much for tires if that's gonna wear out the tires.....but its still an option..thanks!

If you get 15mm go with the version 2, they have the new studs already pressed into the spacer. If you get 10mm it has to be version 1 because they don't make the v2 any thinner than 15mm for the xB2.

Look at this link before you buy your spacers.
