What made you think about 225/40-20 tires? I don't know of any companies that make that size tire. It doesn't really matter anyway, because at over 27" in diameter, I think it would be too large for the xB.

If you're not going to lower it, go with 235/35-20 tires.

On a 20x8.5 wheel those would be stretched rubber bands.

The wheel openings will allow for a larger diameter tire, and the 20's need it, or they will feel like you're riding on solid steel. The 235/35's will fit, and I wouldn't recommend anything smaller than 225/35 for your needs.

sorry for another question but i really need this meat on my tire , here the road are very bad and i not like 18 for wheels (it s too small on xb).

235/35 have wider tread and more sidewall height than 225/35.

225/35-19 = 8.86" wide, 3.10" sidewall height, and 25.20" diameter.

235/35-19 = 9.25" wide, 3.24" sidewall height, and 25.48" diameter.

Stock 205/55-16 = 8.07" wide, 4.44" sidewall height, and 24.88" diameter.

For 19x8 +38 offset, with no lowering springs, go with the 235/35-19 tires.

225/40-19 will work fine on those wheels, but it is a fairly uncommon size that is hard to find (usually special order), and generally very expensive. Here is Discount Tire Direct's selection to give you an idea:
http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...25&ar=40&rd=19

To compare to the above sizes:
225/40-19 = 8.86" wide, 3.54" sidewall height, and 26.09" diameter.

I've never seen anybody run a 225/40 on 19" wheels. I stand by my recommendation of 235/35-19 tires.
