I have to send back a beautiful set of R1 Racing Drift Wheels. The salesperson @ Wheelsnext.com didn't know they wouldn't fit over either the front nor the rear brake calipers.

My heart is broken but unless an 8mm spacer in the rear & 12 mm spacer with longer lug bolts were used, they would not go on. I was not happy about how much they came out of the wheel well. So, they go back Wednesday.



R1 Racing Drift

Now the good news, WheelsNext.com really stepped up to help correct the problem. They are picking up the R1 Racing Drift with NO Additional Charges AND they are giving me break on the replacements. I think I'll them. Let's hope they present as well as the R1 Racing Drift.

 

Ive seen the Axis Matrix on a tC and I really like this wheel. Both are copies of the Volk GT-V

 

Wow the Drift doesn't look as much the same as the Axis is nearly identical! Only makes me wish for the Drift more now! The Mass Lip sold me and now it's hard to give up. In the Split 5 spoke it's difficult to find a large lip and not pay close to the Volk price. I don't think the Axis is Forged though either.

The 2nd pic of the wheel looks great. It will look great on your ride.

A lot of wheel companies only a handful that actually produce them though.
