The problem was mainly the soft springs. I hope you got a stiff suspension Digon! Good luck again.
Thanks, D_Unit for the advice. Im definitely going to be rolling my fenders and stretching the tires. I will be changing my suspension soon which will help with the offset and the rubbing.

Tire Toyo Proxes 4, I was considering 215/35 FRONT and 225/35 in the REAR.

What suspension are you planning to go with Digon? Even with the DFs, the problem wasn't really the clearance because there was considerable gap left... but the springs were so soft, it would still rub which drove me crazy. The stiffer suspension is key. I kind of regretted not getting coilovers initially, but the XB2 is so limited to quality brand names. There are so many mix reviews of the Ksports and D2s and the Cuscos seem a little much for a "non-sports" car IMO.

On a side note, I had KW Variant IIIs on my Mini Cooper and actually swapped them our for the cheaper BC coilovers and loved them. The BCs may have been cheaper, but they had a better overall design.

One more thing, I had 215/40/18 on my 18x9s and the tire went on no problem at all. With the offset so low, you can't really tell the tire is too skinny at all. Just thought I'd mention that.... Keep us posted.

Stop blue ballin' Mumbles and the rest of us and put the damn tires on man! From the look of your new threads, it appears you're steppin' up your game! It was already nice before, but can't wait to see the end result.

You're going to need some stiff suspension, so I am still curious to know what route you're gonna go with. OR, you can try to convince eight08customs to start making a camber kit and you'll be golden. Good luck.

everyone wants camber for the 2nd gens! the next time my wheels are off. I'll see if its even possible again.. i can get the hub to angle but the caliper is where im stuck .. and i think thats where the rest the guys that were trying to design a camber set up are stuck on. I did research on this and the fit has a very similar suspension with disk brakes.. and they sell that whole arm with camber built into it. If it was like the XDs cmabers him would have been done long ago.

As I recall, the caliper itself is threaded for mounting. What I mean is, the caliper goes on before the arm. So all you'd have to do is compensate the whole shim with camber. Just tilt the caliper with the whole shim.
If this makes any sense... So how the 1st gen shims stop, make the shim keep going to the mounting points of the caliper. I think it would work, but I could be incorrect.
