Default Snow + XB2=??

Ok so I live in New Mexico and I have been doing lots of research on rims, lowering springs, etc and was wondering who drives in snow with different rims (either 19's or 20's) and a drop. Granted we dont get much snow in this part of the country, I am still curious how they handle cause this is my only car and snowboarding is my favorite winter sport. Thanks guys and gals

I don't use my 19's in the winter. I have the TRD springs and run some generic 16" aluminum wheels with Bridgestone REVO 1 winter tires in the Wisconsin winters. Did great with that last winter. Plowed a little snow with the bumper on occasion (due to the TRD springs) when the snow got deep, but no signs of getting stuck.

In your case I assume you have no desire to run dedicated winter tires just when you go snowboarding. If that is the case, about all you can do is research and pick the best All Season 19's or 20's for snow traction and remember to take it easy. In general, the anti-lock brakes, traction control and stability control can do a lot to help you keep it under control on slick roads.

Hope that's helpful in some way.
