I think 16s just wouldn't look right on the xB2... prove me wrong though. :D

yeah, me too. i think that 16s look too small on the xb2. i think that at least 18s would be better.

He's looking to go old school, he wants 16" folks.
16x7 ET40 should easily fit.
Tires would be: 205/55-16

yeah i didnt realize til now that those sportmax 002 has a "0" ET which i like, digging that DEEP lip. The hight ET has only 1" lip which is too normal looking and ya not good enough size. Wish someone can make those flared fenders for our rides now so i can grab me those deep rims.

Would take more than just flares, needs some serious fender modifcation to run the 001's zero offset. I would look at the 501's in et15 if they made them in the xB2 bolt pattern.

Did you ever get those BBS RS? I am also part of a bimmer community and can absolutely say those are one of the sickest wheels ever made. Can you send me some pics of those wheels? And, whered did you get them? I didn't know they made them for an xb2?!

BBS was also quite popular in the VW community.

I'm totally feeling this old school look on the original XBs. Do you guys think the XB2s can pull it off? I think at 17 or 18 with low offset and huge polished lip would look pretty good.

I see in your sig that you got wheels on the way... which ones did you get? I'm having a hard time figuring out what wheels look proper on this car. I don't want to point fingers, but I've only seen maybe a very small handful where I actually liked the rims people have put on their 08 XBs.

For now, I'm just going to focus on the audio/video stuff and let other people experiment with different styles till I see the one I like...

BTW, here's another rim I like, but am not sure if it would look good on an XB.

D_Unit, same issue here, I like the tuner style rims but not sure how they'll look. For the record, that's a hot BBS rim you pictured there. I love BBS's though.

Yeah, I like them a lot too. They remind me of my old BBS CHs I had on my BMW before... they look sweet, but it might look out of place on a JDM car... I dunno.
