Default Sport Max XXR 006

I just sold my Tundra Monday and currently trying locate a 09 XBmanual. I'm also working on a tire/wheel package to install and searching the wheel sites. I'm looking at SportMax XXR 006's in silver, 17x7, 40mm OS. I'd like to put either 235/45/17's on these or to gain a bit more sidewall, 225/50/17's if they make them. I'm old school so please bear with me. What are thoughts on this combo?? I want a bit more bulge in the sidewall and feel the 7" rim will get me there. Also I'm into keeping the tires under the body as much as possible. any feeling on this?
thanks,
Motoretro

7" wide wheels with +40 offset will keep everything under the fenders.

225/50-17 tires are available, but not as many tire companies make them, so they are harder to find, you don't have near as much to select from, and they are more expensive than either 225/45 or 235/45 tires.

235's will give you the added sidewall bulge you are looking for, and no problems when you are ready for a spring drop.
