Default to stager or not?

im sporting some ksport coils rightnow and they are set pretty low
the wheels i was looking into come in
18x7.5 45mm or 48mm
18x8.5 38mm or 53mm

i would like a really nice wide stance but i need help picking wheel width and offset

would the 18x8.5 fit in the front ? i kinda guessed no but just checking

if 18x8.5 didnt fit up front i wanted to do that in the rear. with 18x7.5 in front but i wasnt sure if would be better to just get 18x7.5 all around
what u guys think?

finally what would be the best set up for my xb2 of course with no rub

thanks for all your help

If you want to drop it really low on the Ksports, with no rubbing, and no fender rolling, then go with the following:
18x7.5 +45 on the front, with 225/40-18 tires
18x8.5 +38 on the rear, with 235/40-18 tires
Nice look, nice tuck, no rubbing, no fender rolling, no problems!

The tire & wheel fitment Guru has spoken.

With staggered wheels, you can only rotate side to side if the tires are NOT uni-directional. If you get uni-directional tires that have an arrow showing which way they should rotate, you will not be able to simply swap wheels from side to side to rotate. Most performance tires, and even some all-season tires are uni-directional.

just get a more aggresssive offset for the rear.... I think its completely dumb to stagger our cars when we're FRONT WHEEL DRIVE. makes completely no sense other than looking like a RWD car.

Well i hope i wasn't trying to sound negative.... just basic function over form. Why drag more weight and wider tires that are gonna be more expensive... going w/ wider rear's will just slow the car down even more.

the topic was to stager or not.... i think not... just go w/ the same wheels all the way around so you can rotate and do all that good ol' stuff. The only point in going staggered would be for looks and if thats what you want then lower offsets is exactly what I would recommend.

The coilovers don't make a difference with your car not fitting.... it actually helps in that you can customize how low or how high you need to go. Wheel width and offsets are probably the most important provided you get the right size tires. With 20" wheels you limit yourself even more.

I'm all style. I don't drive a performance car so therefore I stagger.

I have 18x8 front 18x10 rear.
