Default Staggered Wheels...vertically

Hello,
I'm over from clubxb.com as it seems to be a little slow recently. Anyone have any thoughts or pics of a 2nd gen with 18s in front and 20s in the back? I'm thinking of going with that setup but am concerned that I've not been able to find any example pics of it being done on an XB. Maybe driveability issues? I happen to like the forward leaning stance of the cars, accented in the bottom window line that tapers down.

Here's one of a guy who did it on a PT Cruiser, which doesn't seem to be that uncommon.

I like the look but his rear is way to high, as long as its low it could look real nice

I don't know about the PT Cruiser's fender radius on the front vs. rear, but with the xB2 it's the same front & back. If you go with a 2" diameter wheel difference, then you'll have a lot less sidewall height on the rear tires than the front tires... I'm not sure that would look very good.

Thought about doing this but 17 up front for more traction and 18s in rear with a slight stagger as well. Considered it because I could get a great deal on these rims at work.

Agreed, that looks nice... I'm starting to think of going 18 front 19 rear though. Mainly because the wheels I like don't come in 17s. So I'd have to do the 18/20.
