Default Wheel Suggestions?

Anyone have any suggestions for some nice-looking 16" wheels? Hubby and I can't decide... He likes the Helo Cyber, and I like the Helo Spark. I thought the MB Spark was decent as well... What about the "Hot Wheels" brand?

I'd really like 17" wheels, but don't want to spend extra $ for more tires (since we have to buy studded ones, too). Would love to drop it, but don't dare up here in the land of frost heaves and potholes... Any advice would be great!

Also, as a sidenote--I have been watching the posts on 5x100 vs. 5x114... I contacted Scion through their online chat line, and they told me the pattern was 5x100. Of course, the same person couldn't tell me how the XB handled in snow... Sheesh.

The pattern is 5x114, it's been measured by people on this fourm.

I personally am done with anything crome. It corodes where the tire seals to the wheel and causes problems. Especially in cold weather areas. Other than that its really up to your taste. "Hot Wheels"? I know you just didn't say that.

Default Which look better????

So, Hubby and I have narrowed it down to:

TSW Kyalami

MB Spark

Maxxim Screech

(I really like the Screech, but can't convince Hubby--he likes the Kyalami) Any votes???

Cheers!

Not yet... We've ordered one and it is supposed to be in by mid-June (dealer says maybe earlier). I'm going to Washington on Monday for training, and am hoping to test-drive one there! Yippee!

Oh yes, and we did order from Nye. Not terribly impressed with them; the only one who seemed to want to help us was Mike.

Totally understand. We were getting the run-around. We had to finally call a Scion dealership in Oregon to find out what was going on. We even thought about buying one from the Lower 48 and having it shipped up, but $1500 would kinda defeat the purpose of an "affordable" new car.

Finally met with Mike (don't remember his last name)... He seemed new but eager to help. He worked closely with the General Sales Manager who confirmed that, yes, they were expecting two Scions by the end of May (1 White Manual and 1 Teal Automatic). We put a deposit on a Black Sand Pearl Manual and were told it should be here by mid-June, possibly earlier. I called Mike yesterday and asked if they had a VIN for our car, and he said yes. Very helpful he was, but his co-workers are a bunch of typical know-nothing salesman (wanting to sell us a "new" base Camry or used Rav-4, yeah right). We got 4 different stories from 4 different people about how to order a new XB, where it would be sent from, and when it would arrive. Sheesh. I also don't know if the Black Sand Pearl we ordered was swapped with the white manual. Have you put a deposit on one, too???
