Wheels are probably one of the most personal decisions you can make; put on "what moves you".
There's nothing wrong with either of those wheels, they will both give your box a lot more personality.
That having been said, I personally like gunmetal on CSM, since you asked.

18x7.5 +48 will put the face of the wheel out about 3/8" closer to the edge of the fenders.
18x7.5 +42 will put the face of the wheel out about 5/8" closer to the edge of the fenders.

This should really be about which wheel you like better, because with 225/40 tires, they should both work with most drop springs. I only gave you the distances that the different offsets would result in, so that you would know.

Personally I like NF210's better (that's what I'm riding on), but IIRC you want a more aggressive drop. You can always check for local Scion enthusiasts in your area to help with the spring install.

You'll be fine on DF's with either wheel, so get whichever you like best.
