Default xxr 502's clicking noise

Anyone know of defect xxr 502's? I have a rim that makes a ticking sound that can be heard when going under 30mph. Thanks for your help!

And if those are a legit two-piece wheel, torque the rivets down.

Toyota rim guy said it was cheaply made and was falling apart.... after they checked brakes etc. I actually had the rim replaced and noise gradually came back after a few days.

are you using oem lugs? if so they are not seating correctly and becoming loose. i doubt the rims are bad theres tons of people who run the same wheels with no problems

Not using oem lugs...didn't install hub centric rings. The new rim was silent for a couple days then started making the same exact noise.

The Toyota rim guy is an idiot! It is probably just a rock or nail stuck in your tire.

The service guys I deal with are acutally pretty cool. Ended up swapping the front wheels and noise went away. Pretty Fking annoying...I guess you pay for what you get. Thanks everyone for chiming in!

You got new wheels or rotated the fronts to the back?

Moved the new rim to the passenger side. Annoying ticking noise vanished. I still feel it's the poorly made 2pc rim from overseas. May have gotten a bad one or two. Time will tell after rotating.

The annoying tick went away because the tire is not right next to your ear, I bet if you drive slow with the passenger window with the passenger side close to a building you will still be able to hear it. I would bet it is just something in the tread like a stone or nail/screw head.
