Default anyone install the rear "spoiler" themselves?

just wondering if it was all that difficult cuz he dealer said It's cheaper if I just buy it from parts and install it myself. curious to see how difficult it is to install.

I got my spoiler added as an option when I bought the car but trddparks.com has installation PDF and didn’t seem that difficult

I bet it was a parts guy that told you it's cheaper to buy the part and install ;)

It's simple if you have the tools for it. The old spoilers required drilling into the car. This one replaces the current 'nub' of a spoiler and the bolt holes are already there. It does take some time to do, but worth it if you can get the part at a good price.

it isnt hard to do if your mech. inclined or have experience working on cars. i had to drill two additional holes for the one i bought from ebay. make sure you seal the bolts with silicone real well and get all the metal shavings off the car, so they dont rust to the car. if you're NOT experienced with this kind of thing, you may want to get help with it so you dont scratch up or otherwise F up your car.

I agree, piece of cake. If you buy the Genuine Toyota, everything lines up and your done in 10 minutes. Easy to follow instructions come in the box.
