I just got some information from another forum's Guru and got the Stalk that has the words, rather than the Icons. I didn't want to deal with the scratches, and worn paddle, etc. so instead of a junkyard part, I got a new one at half the cost of the local Stealership (freight included).

It is oh-so-nice now when on the freeway, and I don't need to keep the hand on the wiper stalk, cause the pause-wipe is too slow, and the low speed is too fast...... I'm just picky LOL

I may have died and gone to heaven. The lack of an adjustable intermittant front wiper on the xD was one of my silly yet major pet peeves. Have you done this and confirmed it works on the xD as well?

Yup.
only thing, the back wiper has only one speed, but so did the orig.
there is lo/hi but the motor is only 1 speed. If you want to (really want to) You might design the intermittent pulser (stand alone) to function on the low speed for theback wiper..... I might, but right now I'm always waiting for a light mist rain shower, so ai might get to enjoy the intermittent wipes....... AT MY DESIRED Delay choice !!!!! Yaaayyy !

I rarely ever use the rear wiper so no biggie there. Now I just have to find the one with the words. Might I ask where you picked up yours? Was the removal and install for the xD the same as posted on the Yaris forum?

I have some other wiring mods on my steering column so it was a little different on mine, however, it's basically as simple as it's shown ....

Mine did not work. I bought a yoke from Ebay for a 09 Vibe. Just tried to install it. It plugged up correctly but only the basic XD functions worked. No adjustable intermittent on the front as well as the rear wiper just did not function on intermittent on the back. It can spray washer fluid front and back, the three speeds on the front work, and the on position works for the back wiper. Which yoke did you guys get?
