A friend of mine told me the LED is going to be available as an option on our XD. LIke the TC. It will be available next Spring 2008~! OH YEAH~!

 

Does your friend know someone on the inside or are they on the inside to know such information? I think it would be too early to offer the xD with different tails after being on the market for almost 6months. Would be ____ed if this was true and they actually looked good.

 

Why? "upgrading" won't be hard.

 

it won't be too early. because back to few years ago while TC in the market, the LED light also available after 8 months or so. Plus, taking off the rear tail light is not difficult. Couple Screws from the rear bumper, then you can reach the Tail light. I will let you guys know once I got the latest picture of the LED~!

 

Any updates on the rear tail lights? As usual, Toyota/Scion wait and wait and wait before anything is released. I'm really curious to see what they look like.

 

If anything, I bet they're going to be on the RS xD only.

 

they should be a dealer accessory like the rest of the led tail light options (ex xB/tC).

 

Well no LEDs on the RS 1 xD and so far it doesn't look like any accessories with LEDs for us either. Scion better realize they've got a hot car on their hands and start coming out with more factory aftermarket parts.

 

Yeah, I totally want to upgrade to some sweet tail lights. Hopefully they'll come out soon.

^^ I doubt it. If that was true that would be all over the xD forums from people peeing/creaming their pants in excitement.

It might mention them but there is no mention of those tails on Scion or anywhere else but that website it seems.

They are out. I just got my set in today. We're deciding if we want to install them though.

And yes, the "red" back of the tail lamp is blacked out on this one!
