Something "BIG" In Store for my xD (DONE/PICS ARE UP)
Yea I know but you know there will be always the doubters and the nay sayers...Hell, you would have to cut some of them to put a sunroof in...My philosophy was go big or go home...I could have went bigger and just relocated the antenna...
Thank you Chris, I still remember the day you did yours...Yang, as far as wind noise I haven't really noticed any but I have not taken it on the freeway yet...The fastest I have driven with the top closed is 45mph and I don't notice any wind noise...What I do notice is that I can hear road noise and my exhaust easier but that's ok I just increase the volume on my stereo...My top closes extremely tight so I don't have any whistling or howling noises...
Thanks Justin and Tomas...There is still some things I would love to do to it...Funny thing is I remember when I bought this thing I told myself I was only gonna get a set of tC take off rims
Yea right...
Yea right...

Yea I wanna look into getting a custom sunroof visor made, I have an idea what I want...As far as cost, depends on your connections...Randode is one of my sponsors...Randode FTW...
Thank you so far to everyone who has posted...I honestly thought I would get a few that would bash it, which I totally understand because as stated before this is not a mod for everyone...
I have finally been able to take it on the freeway and drive with it closed...You do get some air noise (its not bad but you do get some outside noise) but that is to be expected when you cut a giant hole in your roof and cover it with a cloth band aid
I think I will be able to adjust the right front clamp a little tighter and quiet it down a little more...I also believe that a sunroof air deflector shield of some sort would do wonders but thats gonna have to be custom made...Until then, I just turn up the tunes and enjoy...It has been hot as hell here in Az since the install so the top has been closed most of time...Even at 3am it's almost 100 degrees...In about a month, it will be perfect ragtop weather...
